P.S. In a post on the cargo conversion forum I said I was going to consult with you before I decorated the inside of my trailer with seashells. Well...err...sorry. I went ahead without your interior design advise. It turned out a bit dark, as the "beach" has sand that is too dark. Waiting for my daughter to bring me a couple of teaspoons of white sand to make it right.

 Gosh I just reread this page... Thanks guys! Was a hard year for sure....

Just got it weighed so I can redo the springs. :? Came in at a whopping 1,680 pounds loaded...HEAVY... I know I kept saying 1,500 to 1,700 but I was hoping for lighter.... I am guessing the battery, air and CI at a couple of hundred... ;)

:( What's wrong with the springs? Overload? 2,000 # axle?

 Seems some of the experienced folks said they looked like they were flattening out some. Now 3 years later they allow the camper to hit the floor enough to wear the tire....time for some new ones...

Not only were the springs flattened but one of the U-bolts had a crack. Mech. beefed them up too...

 M, looks good. How much clearance now from the top of the tire to the trailer floor? Looks like 2.5".

8" diameter wheels with jumbo tires?

 Prem, the tires are 8" but not jumbo. I got them from a farm supply and they are normal. I also have some airplane tires I might put back on. They will hold 3000 pounds... 8)

Nope didn't know about the bigger. I have 5.70/4.00 8". They are only rated at 910# so I am thinking of something rated higher.

And thank you cause I am ordering some 215/60-8D Rated at 1100.. 8) The MO highway patrol can relax for another few years...no airplane tires... ;)
