Loyd Park - Joe Pool Lake Sept. 18 & 19 2009

Postby Woodyperk6 » Fri Apr 03, 2009 6:44 pm

NOTICE!!! The campsite numbers have been changed due to flooding in the park. About half of our campsites were next to the lake & now they are in the lake. The park relocated all of our sites so we would all be together. There are lots of trees in the new campsites[/b]

Tammy and I have reserved several campsites that weekend. If anyone is interested in joining us please let me know. The sites are $18.00 per night plus a $10.00 per day vehicle fee paid when you arrive at the park. We have paid for the sites in advance. Here is the list of people attending so far;
#191 Mike & Brenda
#192 2bits
#193 St. John paid
#194 Nastacoma paid
#195 Brandon & Chasity -(our son & fam.) paid
#196 Woodyperk6 paid
#197 David & Jeanette - soon to be teardrop friends paid
#198 Bluebonnet IIpaid
#199 Spinnernut paid
# 200 Planovet paid
# 201 Vairman II paid
# 202BG paid
# 203 Big DE paid
# 204Sparksalot paid
#205 Caseydog
# 206 David & Christi paid
#207 James Worley

We can reserve more sites in this area if we need to. It is a big park with 221 campsites. Lots of room. I will send a PM to you with my address for payment. Hope some more folks will be able to join us.

If anyone would like to call the park themselves for reservations the phone # is 817-467-2104.

Does Loyd park allow late arrivals? I can come, but I might not be arriving until midnight or so.

Big De,
Come on up. I put ya'll on the list and I'll send you a PM. I had to look on the map to see where Manvel Tx. is. Looks like a pretty good drive. Looking forward to meeting ya'll. See you in Sept.

I'd like to come see y'all and hang out, but that's 15 minutes from my house, so camping isn't really worth it (unless, of course, I've got the project in a movable state by then. HAH.)

But we'll come hang out!

Thanks for the gathering! I was planning on going camping at a Folk festival in Pine Mills that weekend for my first camping trip in the Teardrop but with gas and admission and who knows what state of completion the teardrop will be in, I think I will be HERE that way I can afford to get fenders! Do you have any spaces available that you have already reserved on Teardrop Row left? PM me if so!

There's nothing special about this map but here it is anyway if anyone is interested!
