My sympathies and condolences. I found my birth mother about 10 years ago and only had about 4 or 5 years with her before she died. Our time here is so very short, and I'm glad that you had what time you did with your mom. Stay strong and know that everyone is wishing you well.

You are in our thoughts and prayers. :worship:

I am adopted and have never met my birth mother. I was adopted by a loving family when I was 2 months old and I was very lucky that they chose me. When my adoptive mother died several years ago I tried finding my birth mother. Unfortunately in Texas the records are sealed and it's very difficult to find out such things. Rejoice in the fact that you found yours and had some time together.

Really sorry to hear about that. It's a shame you didn't have more time with her.

Heikki-

We are so sorry to hear about your mother. Losing someone like that once is bad enough. I cannot imagine losing her a second time. This just reminds me again how lucky I am to still have both my parents, and you know how wonderful they are. Please take care of yourself and Suvi and the boys.

Heikki, Sorry to hear of your loss and the troubles involved with this loss. It must be hard on your sister that she can't come for the funeral. I am glad that you have your wife and friends to talk to as this can really help keep down the stress level and also help keep any related depression at bay.

Your mother's illness and suffering are over. Feel good that you could be there for her when she needed you most. I hope that soon your life will return to its normal routine and all this can be just a memory in your past. Give your dog a hug when you can and pet her soft fur. It'll help.

Wishing you happier days ahead.
