I'm trying some frozen wine drinks this weekend... my friend is trying the one you make in the ice cream freezer... would be yummy for a hot day !!!
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!

Hey guys, we haven't finished our TD yet, but we'd like to stop by and see everyone and their trailers. The only TD I've seen is the one I'm building, so I'm hoping to be inspired by all of your builds!

We floated the Guadalupe on memorial day and the water was pretty low; pray for rain! But of course not that weekend!

If you have a tent, you can probably pitch it in one of our sites. They may charge you a little bit, but I'm sure they will let you do it.

Come spend at least Saturday night with us, and experience a TD Gathering pot-luck and campfire. Then stay the night, since it will be illegal for you to drive after one of our pot-luck and campfires.

If you don't have a tent, I have a really good one you can borrow.

Chorizon,

Come on out and drop a tent, we need as many people as we can get. Your build is looking good even if you don't have it finished just get it sleep able and bring it. This will be a weekend you don't want to miss. 8)

Vegatarians ?????

Postby Txbum » Wed Jun 10, 2009 10:53 am

Hello everyone, sorry for being out of the loop... too many rose bushes to transplant, must admit got better of me...Let's see it was said that all of you were vegatarians and non drinkers...ok... if a cow, sheep, goat, eat green pastures and produce protein and i eat them..does  that qualify me as a vegatarian ? barley, water, sugar becomes malt and eventually a liquid is this a vegatarian's drink?...just kidding...but on the good side of things i will share space if needed by someone.. thanks ...Rick/Txbum...

Thanks for the invite, guys! We're definitely looking forward to meeting everyone. Caseydog, thanks for the offer of the tent. We have one already, but its not very fun to set up. We're A) Trying to get the TD campable or B) looking at renting a popup. If nothing else we'd like to come down and float with you guys on Saturday and hang out a while. My uncle lives right up River Road from there. If the occasion should arise that we couldn't drive, we could impose on him!

I have 2 of these tubes we used last year and they worked great http://cgi.ebay.com/Sportsstuff-Trek-N-Tube-River-Tube-Lounger_W0QQitemZ400043386539QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item5d2471a6ab&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12|66%3A2|39%3A1|72%3A1205|240%3A1318|301%3A0|293%3A2|294%3A50
they are a little more expensive but if you got a big ole watermelon head like mine I dont wanna try and hold it up all day  and the other ones I got are made of thick pvc and Im hoping will hold up.

I wish that I could go. I've wanted to do the tubing thing for a while now... ...but I'll be at a church summer camp with about 30 hyped-up youngin's...pray for :worship: me. Last year, it was the 1st time some of them had ever camped in a tent.

Have a great time!!

Time is running out. I don't have much left to do to get the CaseyKraft 2 campable, but it is so stinking hot.

If this weather holds out, I will need an AC unit in the TD, too.

HELP!!!!

My wife and I went to New Braunsfels this weekend and the river is very very low, but we did enjoy ourselves sitting in the river and people watch everyone that was trying to float. We did the Comal on sunday and it was delightful.

see everyone on the 7th
