Hi Red, good for you, building a teardrop and are open to suggestions from previous builders. I think you should get together with some of the other builders on the board, who are also located in Australia. They might even chime in on your post, so get ready for some more G'days. If you could have a look at a real teardrop, it would help answer some of your questions and give you some ideas on how to proceed with your build. Good luck, ask questions, take pics, post em and keep in touch.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I just started building my Tear Drop, well finished the chassis last December, then other things took over until just now when I can get back into it again.

Progress Report. The floor is finished, the side walls are up and the dividing wall between sleeping area and kitchen installed. Now to think about cupboards and kitchen hatch. It'll take time, but I'm not in a rush.

Slowly .... twig by twig .... the bird builds her nest.

Yep, keep saying that word. I'm not aware of it being used by real teardroppers - it's a piece of boating terminology that I've been trying to spread on this forum for years like an intentionally-transmitted virus....
