Hello,

I've been reading this forum for a couple of years and now I'm committed to building the teardrop I’ve want.

I’m still looking at trailer frame designs because I want to carry recreational equipment on top.

I would like to be able to carry a small cataraft or kayaks or bikes.

I’m also looking to build a trailer more suitable for off road travel.
Not the full 4x4 back country rock crawler, But one which could handle more primitive roads for remote camping and fishing.

I will let you know what I decide.

Welcome to the board, BW. After reading the info on this forum for 2 years, there is little that I can suggest that you probably don't already know. We are here to help, as you are well aware, so good luck on finding the right trailer frame for your more-than-usual roof weight you intend to carry. I'm sure some other off-roaders will have tips for your kind of travel. The extent of my off-roading is backing up off the asphalt and onto the grass of a campsite.............just plain level. Good luck.
