Hi, and a question about towing a tear drop.

This is the place where you can introduce yourself, and include a photo if so desired.

The last email I got from the seller was that he's waiting on his wife to get back from a trip (with his truck), so he can take the trailer to get it weighed. But it might be Monday before he can do so. I replied, saying I am not in a hurry.

Waiting to see what happens.

Pete

Meanwhile, I am headed to Knoxville tomorrow to get the hitch for my HHR, and then get it installed Monday morning.

Sounds to me like the guy wants to get rid of his trailer but doesn't want to do anything for you. If he's serious, he should be jumpin through hoops! You might wanna drop a couple of hints that maybe you aren't really interested anymore, just to see how he acts.
If you decide to purchase, you might want to take it to a scale yourself, just to verify the weight. I'm suspicious, but that's just how I am.
Good luck and if it seems like a ripoff, trust your instincts.
