Does a second layer of 1/8 in ply make a real difference

Anything to do with mechanical, construction etc

:cry: Well I only have one layer of 1/8" and it is strong enough. Truthfully the spars are close enough that only a puncture is an issue. I insulated with 1 1/2" pink stuff though............I can lay on it but don't advise stepping...... :thinking: ;)

:lol: :lol: Like I said, not that you NEED 1/4 -- I was just comparing the strength. IMO the single most common sin in tear building (and we all know that excess is a sin!) is over-building. Truth be told the 1/8 is fine in most cases! So don't feel bad or nothin' Aunty M! :lol:
