Greetings from the Great Northwest

Greetings from the Great Northwest,

Let me start by saying, "I'm not a fast TD builder, I'm not a slow TD builder, I'm a HALF-FAST TD builder"

and if you knew just how long it has taken to get to this stage in my build, you just might agree. Saw my First

TD when I was about 8 years old (in my 50's now),and even then I thought it was a really cool little camper.

My Dad, now past for several years built 2 class C's before I had turned 14. Both built using old bread vans of

that era. I have had Trailers in the past and also slept in tents, I guess I'm not that guy anymore. Time for a

Teardrop. So several years ago I purchased an axle and enough steel, rims and tires too, to start a TD. Well, the

frame is finally finished and lumber has been purchased. Well anyways, This was just going to be an introduction

and I'm just going on and on. Glad to be here and hope to be putting some build pictures up at a later time. Oh,

and if your curious, it"s been 9 and a half years since I purchased the axle.lol

Hey Gary, It's good to see someone from the Inland Empire.
It sounds like you are taking your time and doing it right. Hopefully I will see you in the woods.

Thanks Matt. I would imagine our paths will cross as the area you live in will be one of the places this trailer will go ( when its done ).

Started the build and there are progress pictures uploaded to my album. Just in case anybody is interested. :D
