I got it at the factory near here. I cut it in half. It's half as deep now. The other half is my clothes storage box under the futon.

Maybe, and just maybe, I'd have made the main bed platform lower, so a bunk for a 3rd person could have gone side to side across the back.

Right now, the bed platform is in the back 1/2 and has space for packing crates to slide beneath.

Could still have had shorter storage.

But it's usually me and my wife or me and my son.

When we go as a family we drag out the tent also, so I"m happy as is. But that 3 bunk came to mind.
