I went to NAPA and checked out their catalogs and found a heavy duty StainlessSteel Heim joint that looked just right and I bought it...went over to the meat market and talked to the head butcher, my good friend Boudreau. Together, we went and talked with his little brother, Thibeaudeau who is the head mechanic for the local John Deere dealer...gathering at my house and while sharing a few cool ones, we watched some little Chinese fellahs on UTube doing a hip replacement using DeWalt battery powered tools...heck, we can do that...and I can get a hip replacement for under 50 bucks Vs the $70,000 the doctor wanted and that includes the price of a bottle of 101proof Kentucky anesthesia...
...so this coming Tuesday, we are gonna doit!!!!! Wish me(us) luck
