I'M HOME...it was fun but all good things have to end

...all told I walked about 100yrds on day two...this morning, on day three, after they removed my IV/PCA pump, I walked over 300 yds and climbed up/down a three steps to a platform they had for that purpose(I haven't walked that much at one time in at least 5yrs)....I was doing fine and when the Doc showed up, I told him...if he was gonna remove my pain control pump, I wanted to go home...he said...I know your wife(AKA the poor girl or Nancy Nurse) and she is good, so OK, go on home...and I did...they VERY rarely let anyone go home before day four/five...the girl that was working my rehab stated she had not seen anyone do so good in over a year(a grain of salt here...I guess)...anyway, it doesn't really matter 'cause I'm home now, which is big

...the drugs...the Doc gave me plenty good stuff to get me thru rehab...the wound...I haven't seen it yet, as it is on the back side of hip/leg...BUTT as soon as I can, I WILL post a pic

p.s.s.s. I would be WAY MORE than remiss, if before I sign off, I didn't give a VERY heartfelt thanks to all my friends here for their prayers and well wishes...it must've worked
