And here is the most amazing thing of all. Here is the guy from the DOT stamping the frame with a new VIN. After reading all the problems that people were having getting this done, I was quite worried so I contacted them last week, thinking that it would take forever to get a response. Lo and behold he called me Friday night and came out to my house on Saturday and put the plat on for me. He didn't care what the trailer was being used for, just that the parts weren't stolen. He had a look around my garage extremely interested in the whole process, and now he is thinking about building a camper to fit in the box of his truck.
