Thing is Cliff....the garage height dictates a lot of the design, so that is going to kill a trolley top on this build. I'd love to do something more out of control, but have no desire to modify either the garage door header or the storage shed to get it in and out once completed. It will be something that will go in and out of the garage quite a bit, and don't want to hassle with pressure on the tires, or removing them etc....and that's part of the challenge for me anyway. It will be built on a dolly, but afterwards...it's just gotta go in and out with no hassle. Better for resale anyways.
I just finished up the final profile and interior layout tonight. It's heavily influenced by the Serro Scotty, and some hint of a Metz....all in a 50's color and accessory theme, I got a whole lotta windows in it. Hopefully it will have great street appeal and with the accessories I have in mind will give a great campground presentation. I blame all this on Steve E and his restoration of his Scotty....his trailer is just awesome! Doug
PS Great Pic!!! I haven't seen that one, but then you always come up with some great pics.
