Long-time lurker just decided to sign-up. Found the site looking for ideas for my make-shift TT . Heavy I know but free.. hoping to make it work for a few years till we get a Class C. Don't have the interior done how I'd like it to be yet. I Just threw something together so I could sleep in it a week at the inlaws.. a/c, queen size pillow top mattress and cable TV wasn't to bad.

I've thought of that... slept in the back of my own truck many times. Definitely needs some swing out tables/galley on the back... OR off of the front.

We're in area of 18th and central. Truthfully I haven't thought about the galley yet. It all depends on how I can re-arrange the bed. It's a smidge over 6ft across which should be enough for us. If it is I'll put something along the passenger side, drivers side is for a porti potti/closet. I have a screened canopy that will fit right over the back if we're parked for a bit.

bobnhenry.. yours definately has more head room than mine don't think the poor Escape would like to pull it though.

Welcome to the forum from the wilds of Rayville. 45 miles north east of you.

We went from a tent to a old beat up camper shell on the back of a Range pickup to at 4X8 tear to the Winter Warrior. At least you have more room than we had in the truck and the 4X8 so it looks like a good start. Plus the price was right.
