How popular are Casitas?

I like the Casitia, Scamp and Burro. I looked at them a bit on line but not really to the comparison point. They all had the same problem, pick them up at the factory (or shipped to you). I think had I found one at a local RV dealer I would have bought it.

For me they all had what I was looking for. A decent size, light towing weight and good air penetration. I still think that is the way of the future here to tow with smaller vehicles but many people don't seem to mind having a real truck around to pull a big RV. I have enough machines to maintain and will stick to my small paid off truck.

Since I was closest to San Diego I started looking hard at the Burro. On the web site there was even a kit version. Looked like everything supplied and you save a couple thousand putting it together yourself.

That one I went as far as contacting the company, or trying anyway. Their web site was up but no one answering the phones. I think they must have just gone out of business then. That's when I ended up dragging home the Puck.
