Hello everyone
Yes I am a newbie and I'm not ashamed to say it, My teardrop I'm happy to say rolled out of the shop on July 16th 2009 to make it's first showing at the Annual boat show and regatta in Hammondsport NY. The trailer went over real well. What a boost for the ego. The trailer is back in the shop for a new axle (I wish I found this web site earlier I hade a ton of questions) The axle I hade on at first was to stiff (3500lb Flexiride) now I have a 2000lb flexiride rubber torsion axle though I haven't tested it yet It seams to be softer (safer). Thank for letting me join this groop I know I have lots more to learn. My first TD outting I hope will be at Sampson Sate Park in the Finger lakes area Sep-17/20 I'm hoping for dry weather. When my nine year old shows me how to post pic's I will add more to the site.To those who are wondering the trailer weighs 1460lbs -Wayne Reynolds

Welcome to the board, Wayne, feel free to ask what ever you like. I suggest you hook up with the tearjerkers in your area, so you can attend some of their gatherings. Good luck on your new axle.
