Wind turbines behind the grill of electric cars that kept the batteries at full charge. Just get up to say 25mph and they start working.

I've been working on this since about year into my TD experience...the ultimate TD option...it will be about the size of a 1# coffee can and weigh less than 5#s...is installed on axle and driven by tire movement...it gives a filtered voltage for charging the TD's battery plus it gives a "push" to the trailer causing a doubling of tow vehicle's mileage and when stopped, with the addition of a tablespoon of water, it will provide air conditioning for the camper and act as an antennae/amplifier for the TV/Radio...this entire unit, could be mounted in less than 30 min by some guy with a multi-tool AND FINALLY, cost under 50bux...as soon as I get the bugs ironed out, I'll offer it here first...

Sounds excellent! I've developed a device to pull energy from the ether via a long rope coaxed up by a swami. So far I have rendered many so called "immutable" laws of thermodynamics useless! Maybe we could combine forces!

Another thought – wouldn’t it be terrible if you were parked about 10 – 15 feet away from an electrical outlet and needed electricity? My idea is a cord – to extend the electrical connection to where you needed it – I’ll call it an “extension cord”

A cup that mounts to the end of the new fangled extension cord that starleen suggested. The cup would catch and save the electricity that runs out when you unhook the cord.
If I could shut my brain off, I could save myself alot of time, money and effort.

How about a device that would capture and store common sense that you could pass on or sell to folk that had never had any their whole life? And maybe that device could be expanded to include capturing a sense of humor, sense of self, sense of humility. Of course the box some would have to order for these things would be so large and heavy that it would have to be shipped motor freight . . .
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

A laser gun that all drivers would have that would tag another drivers car if he did something really stupid.

The tag would read something like...oh well, A$$.....

Meeter maids, police would have a scanner that would scan any vehicle, and if more than 3-4 tags would be on a vehicle the owner would get a citation for being an Idiot

There would be no defense for this citation as you would already have been judged by a body of your peers.

Another good feature in regards to the citation would be that there would be no "Court Costs"

This would make the "Idiot" think he/she is really getting away with something.

Happy Trails

2 million

Postby Alfred » Sun Aug 09, 2009 1:12 pm

When I was a nerdy adolescent playing Gary Gygax D&D, back when that was a new thing, they had a magic item called a "Bag of holding", which if I remember correctly was a bag that would open into another dimension and store all the items you needed to carry, but in this dimension it didn't weigh anything or take up any space. So one could conceivably pack all their camping gear in it, without having any work at all in storing it or carrying. I think something like that would come in handy.

Or, another idea for the 2nd million, how about a workable, odor-free, self-cleaning, folds away teardrop camper indoor latrine option? I am thinking we could probably attach it to Mad Jack's device described above and sell the whole thing as a unit.

In So Calif, we have more car chases than anywhere in the US. It gauls me that cop cars can pull up right behind a fleeing thug, and sit there while the light changes. My invention would be to mount a divice which I choose to call the "Nelson Lance". It would be mounted within a hidden barrel behind the cruiser's grille., could be fired into the trunk lid of the fleeing car, stop it's penetration with a metal plate to keep from killing the said thug.

The hardened steel point of the device would flare out within the trunk lid, and the cruiser could reel out a tethered cable, which would stop the culprit by simply breaking the cruiser to a stop when a safe distance was established. Come on, military hardware designers, we can do this. Please send my my 1 million in advance, just for the idea, which none of the real brains have designed yet. You're welcome.
8) :? ;) Roly, enjoyer of police chases but think they are foolish.

Not to break up the fun but I'd love to find cure for dementia. You wouldn't even have to give the million. I'd be first in line to get it for my wife.

My idea would be to sell, for charity, a card that exempts you for one year of any further solicitation from any other charity or local organization.

A plastic back of the hand with middle-finger extended. :R This would attach to your rear windshield wiper. Then you could pull in front of someone, hit the wiper button and flip them off. :D One drawback, this might cause an increase in

"road rage".
