We had a thread on this a couple of months ago....I just find a convienent bush.....soap will break down the surface tension on the surrounding soil and the plant will be able to absorb water and nutrients a lot better....got that one from Jerry Baker on PBS.....I spray the lawn with soap in the sprayer all the time....it works....Doug

I don't usually camp in organized campgrounds, so it's not a problem.

Hi

I am with Doug on this, greywater straight to live topsoil is the best method (for the enviroment a least)

Depending on the terrail a small portable tank like the one shownin Gages picture can be very handy for getting it to the sol in the right area.

I can't see how grey water to the soil is going to hurt anything--especially since a lot of us are peeing in the bushes anyway.

Even if there's a restroom available, it's still more fun to do it in the bushes.

They are more concerned about the soap than the pee.

I know--I remember that thread from a long time ago. (Plus, I don't pee in the sink if I have choice.)

But what kind of world are we living in where soap is more dangerous than urine?

Ohhhh...I've even embarrassed myself here.

In nauticle terms a "gentleman" is a fellow that moves the dishes before he pees in the sink. Of course this is something I would never take part in when you can do it over the aft rail....as long as there isn't a strong following breeze.

What if I just mounted one of these on an inside wall and ran a pipe out the fender?

A fellow could dump grey water in there if he were so inclined!!

What is what? Gray water or the funnel-shaped sink with the toilet lid on it?

I thought it was a toilet that looked like a funnel-shaped sink.
