Wow! What a transformation!

Jealous... very jealous!

Saw a 110 at a local bike fix-it shop a couple of months ago. You know the scenario. Sitting in the garage for years, now they want to fix it up. Asked the guy working there if the customer was fixing it up to sell it and he looked like "???"

I'm pretty positive he wanted it for himself!

Did you reconfigure the rear shock mounts to add the passenger seat?

Just noticed the original seat cover, very nice!

Greg
Fun bikes, I always did like the CT90. I sold one a while back but bet I'm going to wish I still had it at some campgrounds. Still hope to someday have a S90.
Did you end up getting any parts from Dr ATV?

I didn't reconfigure the shock mounts, they come with mounting holes for a luggage rack, and then the buddy seat was mounted to the rack. Since money was tight, I made the seat mount myself. If you can make it to the Guadalupe GTG I'll let you take it for a spin...

Hi Jerry, I got my parts off of Ebay. They are less expensive when you can do a little hunting...

AW MAN... YOU ARE KILLIN' ME WITH THIS POST!! :applause:
I have a 1974 Honda CT 70. I bought it new with my paper route money at Anderson Honda in Michigan. Oh boy, those were the days man. Wow you're takin me back! Well, I still have it in my parents storage in Ohio and always hoped to restore it one day. I'd be very happy to come any where close to what you did.

Mine is this "exact" one below. Same color, everything. If I could pick and choose certain times to revisit in my childhood, one of them would be riding this thing again. Thanks for posting. I've truly seen it all here on the forum.

If you are at all interested in the single cylinder Honda's you need to check out Dr ATV, AKA Beatrice Cycles. If you bought from Ebay you may have run across them there. The parts availability is astonishing! It is great to see the support for the little Honda's. The best I could tell is they are good people too. They are at:
http://www.dratv.com/index.html

I used them at least twice, may have been more. I'd select the parts using the pull downs and entering a credit card number on a Sunday. The part would be at my door on Thursday. I rebuilt an engine (rings, seals, valves and a clutch nut) for under $100.

Thats a CT90 I use for my avatar. It that point I was messing around and tried a flame job on it. My build page is at:

Wow! Incredible restoration job! Those old Hondas are bulletproof. I have a 1962 Honda 50 - red & cream, just like the ones in the old "You meet the nicest people on a Honda" ads in the 1960's. I used some ebay parts to fix mine up too. Still runs great!

About a year ago I went to an auction had a Honda 90, I dropped out at around $100, looked to be in about the same shape as you started with, but the motor was locked up, ended up going for $150 or thereabouts.
If I could shut my brain off, I could save myself alot of time, money and effort.

I've always wanted a mini bike but never had one until now. I'll clean this one up over winter and use it for the same thing you'll do............. CAMPING!!!!!!!!!
