circuit breaker ?

A few days ago i saw a post and now can't find it
it talked about and showed a pic of a circuit breaker after battery(POS) and before pos fuse panel, it was two prong like ive seen at auto parts store . question is what size breaker should that be ?

...if it is to be meant as a main fuse, I would go with 30A breaker...online, try waytekwire or dell city or just goto your local auto parts store, who should have selection of such........

yes it is meant to be main fuse
some in here say it is easy to reset than replace fuse correct

...wellllll Norm, all I can say is, it is either push a button and go on...OR...hunt hi and lo for that stash of fuses you left RIGHT there...and are now missing!!!!!!!!

while you are on mad jack

help with this question ?

lets say you run current to your two porch lights
what size fuse should you run on that circuit?
im useing 12 gauge wire for every thing cause thats what i had
in here i read were 12 wire is good up to 20 amp but wire size from light is smaller maybe a 14 or 16
amperage is small for this circuit so
what size fuse should i run for those lights

...for the lights, if they are single bulb lights, probably 5A would be enough...if dual bulbs, goto a 7.5 or 10............. 8)

The small black button on the side(top in this picture) is the reset button.

NAPA or almost any Auto Parts store handles these.

i got one at auto zone it resets its self is that going to be ok also what side does the copper terminal go to ? the battery side or buss bar side ?
