That's one nice looking car!

So much more class than all the new styles.
It will make one sweet tow car. Have lots of fun with it.

The hitch on my Chev was put on before I bought the car. It looks like a home built unit. It is so stout, that after looking at what it would take to remove it, I decided to leave it on. (lots of welding) Glad i did now with the TD.
Nice weather predicted for this weekend. Enjoy your ride. Is that a spec of dust on it that I see in the 3rd photo? lol![]()

There are after market rear shock relocation kits to the chassis available for $60 that I may purchase to prevent trunk floor damage from the weight of the teardrop.Danny

The leaf springs carry the weight of the car and the trailer etc, the shocks just dampen the ride. you shouldnt need to add stuff to the upper shock mounts unless you are running an air shock or something with helper springs/coilovers taking some of the weight off the springs.. What you might see if you crawl up in there and look close you will see that the mounting locations are probably cracked. You might want to patch those up and add some more steel in there to correct that if it hasnt happened already...
