looking for a frame rest

I pick up a 242C this last weekend so now I'm looking for a frame rest for it :cry: it did not have one on it . It has 6 6 or 9 9 on the bottom
of it how do you tell if it a 6 or a 9 :thinking: ty for your help

If it does not have a frame rest, how do you know it is a 242C? Can you post a picture of the date?

Just a suggestion and I could be wrong...... I would think they were probably all oriented the same way as they came off the production table for stamping. If your other one has numbers other than 6 or 9, see which way the numbers are up and down and go the same way on this one. :thinking:

Pardon my ignorance, I know that at 242C is a gasoline lantern, but, what is a frame rest? :thinking:

This is a 200a but it is the part the frame rests on.
