Hello There

Postby SAXPLAYER66 » Mon Aug 31, 2009 12:18 pm

Our name is Jimmy and Shelia Mcguire. We bought our teardrop in March of this year. We have camped a few times this year and everybody loves our teardrop. I saw where you are having the Winter Camp and we are really excited. We are located in Russellville, al and were wondering if any teardroppers were going to camp this labor day weekend. Would love to me other people that love these little campers as much as we do.

thanks,
Shelia Mcguire 8)

Shelia

first off welcome to the madness
Now, to check on camping opportunities with other teardropers
Scroll on down to the South East section of the camping portion of this forum.
But probably, the better place to check is at www.trearjerkers.com/
this is an international Teardrop Camping forum, many members of T&TTT are also members at Tear Jerkers and viceversa.
Once you register there, check out the different chapters and register with the one that will suite your needs best, all are great and anyone is welcome to camp with any other chapter....the registration just helps with organizing all the chapters. Oh, there is a brand new chapter for Alabama, check it out.

Again welcome

Welcome from the beautiful mountains of Western, NC. This is a great site, with a lot of friendly helpful people. A great resource! I have family in Mobile, AL!

Welcome! I'm the chapter director for the Alabama Tear Jerkers. The December gathering is our first official get together in our state, but several nearby states have stuff before then. (GA in October, TN in Sept, FL in Nov) I'll be going to the GA and the FL gatherings. Also, I'm encouraging others to post when they are gathering and where, so folks can join in.

I will be spending the Labor Day weekend working on the final upgrades with my brother-in-law on my tear drop, so I won't be camping. But I will be at Cheaha on Sept. 18-20. My nephew has a band competition over that way, so I thought I'd rather camp than stay at a hotel.

At the December gathering, I hope to organize the 2010 gatherings. I personally plan to try and camp once a month except July & August ... just too hot.

Let me know if there are any questions I can answer for you. I hope you can come to the December campout at Oak Mountain.

Welcome to the wonderful teardrop camping experience!!! Plan on coming to the Shreveport LA area for a vacation and the biggest campout of the South central at the Lousiiana Cypresswood Gathering, or the LCG . Look under the South Central forum

And don't worry about it being booked... the camp loves us, we love the camp and the more the merrier ... we'll make room!
