Rope lighting for moulding

Postby dh » Tue Sep 01, 2009 11:55 pm

I read in another thread about problems with moulding going snap when being bent in the tight curves, then read about rope lights in another. Could you kill two birds with one stone and use rope lighting for moulding?
Ignorant doesn't know any better, Stupid knows better but does it anyway.

 Yes you can. All you are doing is hiding the seams. Some follks have used ropes to do this too.

I think rope lights would be good for that application...

Of course if the gaps are too large, then you want to consider a wide, but thin molding anyways...
