Carol
I am glad that you will be joining us again

Barb
:applause: (First Teardrop Gathering) :applause:
We are glad that you are going to make the journey to the Glyph's I just want to warn you

These Teardrop Gatherings can become very addicting do to all of the great people & great food. RR-RR We Teardropers are a different breed.
(Well at least 99.9% of us)

Kay
The last gathering was earlier in the year, I do not anticipaite any snow I'm sure at this gathering we will be wearing very little clothing do to it's alot warmer this time of the year.
:relaxing:
But you never know I've seen some crazy weather over the years so I normally pack cloths & bedding for warm & cold weather. :fan: :snow

:rainy: But then again scince Grant is comming I'm having flashbacks from the Dam Gathering I think I'll thow in a rain jacket :rainy:
  Just kidding Grant

Just a reminder, everyone be sure to bring plenty of water & Steve wine doese not count as water opps Steve will not be attending, unless you supprise us.

 (Sd Steve your presence would be nice, But I know you'de rather sit at home alone)

Grant
I still plan on being in the area Wensday Sept 16th &
I'll get hold of you when I get to the Glyph's & let you know how many non Teardropers are at the CG.

It may be a good idea to reserve the group spot at the Scott CG.

Then again there may not be to many deer hunters there for the muzzle loader opening weekend.

We do have to remember we will be located on the loneliest hiway in the country all we will most likely see is a few jackasses (no I'm not refuring to those folks around the camp fire),Maybee a cyote , or even an Alien or 2 it's to bad that AlFink will not be attending, now who are we going to find to watch the night skies to keep all of us Teardroppers from being abducted.

(There is a movie called Night Skies that is based on a true story that happened fairly near to where we will be camping out & it involved RVers
I do have the DVD maybee I'll bring it & we can watch it.)

It's to bad we don't have Dan's setup so we could watch it theatre style.:(
 It's getting closer.

I'm setting here at work. Trying to stay out of really deep trouble and just put in for Sep. 16th off and got it so i will probably be there on wed.

Might give back the following Monday, hope i can get rested enough for work.

Still Calking up the trailer to haul the Moose Drool.

Yesterday I finally figured out how to put stabilizer jacks on it. And am working on a better hatch support. And a better inside door pull.

These things are never finished. :(

Sometimes the thing you need most seems to come at just the wrong time. My business has been having the slowest year in 20 because it is construction driven so I've been looking for some work that will keep me afloat till things pick up. Low and behold I start a new job the 14th making the glyph gathering an almost impossible trip.

Still looking at coming down for Saturday and Sunday morning but it's a 8 hours each way. So....

If I don't make it, ya'll have fun.

Well, Rob ...

... congrats on the new job ... :applause: ... but sorry it will interfere with the 'Glyphs II ... ...! I think we'll all understand if you don't make it, but if you do, then ... :D :D :D :D ...!

CHEERS!

Linda and I will be there Wednesday so if you get there before us please don't "stone" us cause we are in a 5th wheel !! and if you arrive after us just look at it as the "mother ship" for all the great teardrops . We have a trip to Montana we are going to end at the glyphs and its too far from home (in time and miles) to get the teardrop
The difficult we do now... the impossible takes a little longer

Put a "My other trailer is a Teardrop" sticker on the back of that 5th wheel (and offer cold beer) and all will be forgiven!
I'll have driven 12 hours that day :? so I'll be in for a late dinner (or just a beer and to bed) Wednesday evening.

Is that your estimated drive time from Los Osos?

I'm really looking forward to this. In addition to meeting some dedicated teardroppers, I love the terrain and surroundings (although the snow might be missing) in the pics posted from the last Glyphs gathering.

Rumor has it that Courtney and Roy may also be attending this camp out. I think they are working on getting a new set of wheels right now, their last TV died on them. Doug

That will be darn close, that was actual drive time last snow season, not counting the time spent fixing a trailer brake in a K-Mart parking lot at 8:30 at night and camping south of Lone Pine for the night. I'll head out about 5:am from the coast. But Ken's weather report looks good for this time around! 8)
