Hello from South Mississippi

Postby Karenk » Sat Aug 29, 2009 11:21 am

Hello, I am the, very proud, new owner of a 4 by 8 teardrop. I have been wanting one for so long, but I am not up to the task of building one. I have been watching Craig's list forever and one finally came up, semi locally, and I jumped on it. Now I am making it my own and having a ball. I am looking into getting a pet cool. I thought about putting it under the counter in the kitchen. Can someone tell me how the water drains out of the pet cool? :)

Welcome to the ranks... be sure and check out the TearJerkers website (link above). Jerry is the director for the MS crowd and he plans stuff regularly.

You have a great name... at least one I won't forget.

Welcome fellow Mississippian! :P

HMMM... should that be fellow?? Fellette?? Fellowette? Oh well, you know what I mean.

Karen is right. I am the Director for the Mississippi group and I try in my humble way to schedule things; but I am new at it so don't expect miracles.

Mississippi is only 5 1/2 hours drive from top to bottom, so there is a good chance we may cross paths. And with another southern aficionado, the next get together may just have to move farther south. Any suggestions??

Hi, thanks for the invite and the compliments. Y'all are great! I am still amazed at the wonderful job Jerry, the man I bought the camper from, did on "my" camper. He was great, when I went to get it he asked if he could polish it and deliver it to me on Saturday. When he brought it to me, 80 miles away, it looked great and he bought and mounted a brand new marine battery on the front. I felt like I was stealing it for $1850.00. I like to think he was happy to see it going to someone who would love it like he did.
