Can you remember the title of the strip or the name of the character, so you or I can look it up a picture for this fun thread?

Caught a break. The strip was Joe Palooka and the character was Humphrey Pennyworth. He rode a tricycle, not a three-wheel bike, and the tiny house on back was actually an outhouse. How appropriate. With those clues, does anyon eknow of any images or other memorabilia? Searches of Google, Yahoo, and eBay all failed.

Well, I got really obsessive about that cartoon character and spent half the day at the keyboard checking Google, Yahoo, and eBay eight ways from Sunday and getting nowhere, so then ran it by my other forums. Ta-dah! Now I see why I was so taken with the little scooter. A hundred years ago when I was little I was taken with Humphrey's tricycle, even had the toy, thrown out when I grew up, well, older.

I just feel bad for the guy, ONE SPEED, not a ten speed. I went to back woods China outside of Shanghai and there were many many more bicycles to cars and trucks. There was a bicycle lane that was half the road, and whenever you come to a stop light in America you have the crosswalk right? Well there is a space behind that for all the mopeds to filter through all the cars and sit up front because they take off faster.
