I am pretty sure this is it..but a slightly different story on how it was damaged, or maybe it is just a coincidence. Both have a Gloucester RV sticker on them.

Actually, they do display. Just click on them anyway and they show up.
At least they did for me.

The person posting made the mistake of linking all his photos in one album, and it shows there is 199 photos in the album.

Susann, thanks for reminding me... :(

No, really, that was mine, for about 1 hour, before it was hit in traffic, not in a campground. It's funny, how this thing made it from Richmond, VA. to Philly, PA.. Such sad memory, but things worked out for us, got Allan Geddes Army Teardrop, one of the finest homemade tears I have ever seen.

Good search there Susann.

Bob:

I thought it was your new/old teardrop. It was just so weird seeing it and that it was damaged in a "campground". Funny how your insurance and Little Guy said it was totaled, and this guy says the damage isn't too bad.

I think its interesting, too. Its kinda hard to gloss over the title info, though:

"Vehicle title: Non Repairable "

I did have a buddy that bought a salvage-titled Buell from Florida a few years ago. It had been in a flood. He registered it here in TX and I don't believe the title said anything about being "salvaged". Bike ran great, and he never had any problems with it (other than the usual).

Maybe registering in other states can negate "negative" titling designations?

In the description he mentions "minor moisture damage" that can easily be fixed -- that don't look like no minor water damage to me. I certainly hope someone doesn't win this thinking all they need is a new galley door.

How much water damage, would you say? And is it just surface damage to the cupboards? Of course, it's hard to tell without seeing it. I have relatives in mid-PA who might be persuadable to fix this up -- and join me camping (I just bought a teardrop 2 months ago).

I am wondering just what the reserve is on this? There is a bid of a little over $2000, but that is not the reserve.

The moisture damage looks like it has gotten worse to me since the first pictures posted.

At least it now says the camper was rear-ended in a traffic accident and not in a campground.

Which is to say, the guy has re-listed it on eBay. Slightly different text. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2006-Yod ... 911.c0.m14

or http://motors.shop.ebay.com/callme1st/m ... rom=&_ipg=

in case either of those URLs will actually work.

Virginia DMV says:

A vehicle for which a nonrepairable certificate has been issued can never again be titled, registered, or legally driven in Virginia. The vehicle may only be used for parts.

and

It is unlawful for any person to sell a nonrepairable vehicle to any person unless they are a scrap metal processor, licensed as a salvage dealer, demolisher, or a vehicle removal operator.
