Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

My first teardrop trailer. I am 25 and live in Washington. I had this idea for five years but couldn't bring myself to cut up my first car, a 1993 Ford Thunderbird. When I received an identical vehicle for free from a friend, I couldn't resist. I cut the car in half at the firewall, gutted the interior, built a bed with clothes storage under, and use the trunk for cooking and tools. Your thoughts on what may or may not be considered a Teardrop are appreciated. Once I figure out how to post pictures I will put one up.

I'm not sure I'd discribe it as a teardrop, but I recon it looks well smart behind the tv.

Well its the size of a Tear. Ya cant stand up to dress and kitchens in the back. Id say its a Tear. Lol.

I used to own a 93 tbird. I should have cut that thing in half too. Never had more problems from a vehicle... :cry:

As for the use as a tear, I think it could have style potential with some body mods and paint.

Weight may be an issue as tbirds are really heavy vehicles, and with the uni-body I don't know how you can lighten it.

I suppose if the galley was in the tunk maybe it would a tear or close to it - what a way to save something from the scrap heap - Have fun with your camper :thumbsup:

Now dats a conversation starter,,,, Even in the far stretches I dont think ya could call it a tear drop,,, but it definately fits in the tiny travel trailer slot,,,, heck maybe we gotta add a new catigory just for you,,,, "Tear-Bird",,,I can see ya trying to explain to a police man dat you wernt speeding ,, the crazy behind ya was pushing ya faster than ya wanted to go,,, camper :rofl:
