Have already built a Benroy design teardrop. I'll show photo's soon, as I'm still setting up this computer. About to embark on #2. Got most of my Ideas from this site and forum. So only fair I guess I present my experience at building. It was a lot of fun! More to come in next few days. Thanks, Bill

Hi Bill, Yes I believe I'm the first person in my region to build one of these. I play bluegrass music and travel around to various festivals. I have a coleman pop-up, but my Dobro player seen these and wanted one, As he travels alone. He make a valid point when he says, at festivals, active players don't sleep a lot anyway, maybe three to four hours per night. Since festivals are most every week end, he decided to give up his small apartment for the summer and is camping out the entire summer in his teardrop. He says it's an experiment. So far He's doing Ok...thanks to Wallmart parking, one to two days some weeks. More later, Heading to work!

Bill,
Ya know you will get so darn much attention when traveling around in your Tear. My advice to you is put your groups name on the back of your Tear. Great advertisement. I cant even go into a convience store without having :peace: a small group checking "The Sponge" out. I even had a guy follow me to my job and ask if Id sell her. I told him my wife would divorce me. Lol. We love it and the camping experience with it.
Enjoy,
Bill and Marijo
Oh yea Walmart is great for their hospitality.
Hope to see you on the road.

Your not kidding about the attention these campers get. I've seen people almost leave the road trying to get a look as they dove by. Like their wondering, what the heck is it! Cargo or camper?
Your also correct about people following you till you stop, so they can ask. Makes the whole project worth while. Very satisfying. :applause:
