Guest??

I 've noticed in two threads already that a Unknown Guest has posted comments. Is this now possible. When I logged out to try to post as a guest - it would not let me - How is this possible?? It doesn't appear to be a screen name either because it's not linked to a profile either

I dunno...tracking the IP address revealed one to be from KennyRayAnderson and the other from JiffyPop...I have no idea why they showed up as "guest", which should only happen if their profile had been eliminated/removed and that certainly hasn't happened...more ghosts in the machine...I guess................

Check the 'Forum Permissions' (I think that's the right option for phpBB) on the new forum. In a version of phpBB this old guest posting is enabled by default.

Bobby, thanks for that info...I didn't think to set permissions when I set up that forum...it has now been fixed....
