Just wanted to introduce myself. I am Marc from upstate NY and just finished my teardrop. it sure was a challenge. I have been browsing around here for quite some time and cannot thank everyone enough for all the help. hoping to build a kampmaster next. I will upload pictures soon.

Thanks for the welcome and here is one pic. I still have some trimming and interior work to do just got back from a wet camping trip and everything in the camper stayed surprisingly dry[/img]

Does the canvas stay on or do you snap it around when you open the top?

And did you get canvas to fit the TD? Or did you build the TD to fit the canvas?

No, The canvas isn't actually canvas it was a prefab canopy from dicks sporting goods made by a company called tailgate gear(6X18'). my parents helped me with the sewing and cutting the pattern. Unfortunately the tent does have to be removed to close the top. takes about 10 minutes to set up. Thanks for all the nice comments. Here are some more pics of the interior. still needs some work however running out of dough. I took it camping this weekend so got to use it once now. I think I am going to sell to try to do a new and improved version.
