Hello from NM

Hello all

Although I am not a TTT owner YET I hope to be soon. At first I was thinking of a tear drop but after further reflection I think a larger trailer is more our style. My main reason for finally becoming a member is to gather as much info as possible on all things RV.

I recently met a local gentleman that rebuilds RVs and is currently in the process of doing up a 1951 Aljoa for sell and has a 1950 Aljoa in reserve that I have my eye on and hope to convince my husband to buy and restore. Any suggestions, ideas as to what I should look for.

By the way this gentleman has built and sold Teardrops and judging by the work on his rebuilds his Tear drops are something to see.!

More later as I am mainly a lurker and gleaner (?) of information. :)

Hi yes that is exactly like the one we (I) are looking at. Although this one is in a little worse shape. The outside looks decent but the inside has the rot going on. Heres hoping. I think! i don't know if I maybe will put the work into it and decide it is still to small and want slightly bigger. I do know that I don't want HUGE.

More about us. Jim and I have been married for 20 years with 4 daughters 2 in college one a senior and our baby in 4th grade. We haven't gone camping in YEARS but my husband decided to go once this year and we thought we would look for a small rv which led to researching the fun finders, which led to the t@bs which led to the tear drops and then the vintage and the rest as they say is history. Well not quite yet but will be when i get one and fix it up!
