New Tearjerkers in KS

I guess we are committed! We've purchased a sink & stove and I've created a website to document our build. Guess that means we should take a minute or two and introduce ourselves.

We are collectively, Matthew & Sandi. We enjoy camping, canoeing and Geocaching. Three years ago we finished building our own airplane (yes, a real one). Now we find ourselves embarking on the build of a TD. My cousin Leslie introduced us to TD building last Labor Day. We've spent every spare hour since then researching, designing, and dreaming.

We've chosen the Grumman 2 profile, stretched vertically for some additional headroom. (Grumman 2S) Preliminary name is the "GeoDrop". I'm using Google SketchUp to model out the design. Hope this will be a nice winter project, ready for the Spring 2010 season.

We are documenting our build at: http://teardrop.n523rv.com

See Ya'll!

It has been awhile.. but I'm finally making some progress! I have a trailer built (no axle yet) and I'm working on closing out the walls. Keeping the website up to date for any watchers...

The quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten, so build your teardrop with the best materials...
