Glad to hear you all had a safe, fun and DRY weekend... I did too with my / our KS MO friends up in east Kansas.

Thanks Cindy & Dave for calling me Saturday night -- yes , we did a group picture but EVEN BETTER was the flyover from one of the newbies coming out to look... !!!
AERIAL PHOTO
From bottom left (we had to double up) is Jeff & Anna, Darren, then Vernon & son( Crappie Camper) with Fred & Taz... then next is Tony & Kathy (exminn boy) and Gary & Trudy, but they must've driven off. ... then nestled under trees was newbies Todd & Jenny w/ son Tyler and me and my friend Phil (his red truck peeking out).... Then next with the bright red vehicle, they have a matching red td with a light roof- that's NathanN & Donna and Chad & Sue (CJFlyer) then Reo ron and his old red truck and doubleing with Larry & Macy... then Roger and his wife, then newbie tent campers , then Dennis & Jeannie and ShooteR & his wife...

FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN !!!! For ALL of us !!!! Glad you all didn't float away ! !

SEE YOU IN ONE MONTH AT L C G !!!

Julie
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!

I hate to say it but I hope so too :D

It looks like the luck of the Dog won out. Other than a little shower on Friday afternoon, we had nice weather. ;)

Just around to getting my pictures puled off the camera.. yes the jet fuel was quite fun!
Image

But it didn't seem to phase some people... coulda been the alcohol!
Image

While it captivated others!

I think it was a great first time out! I was glad to meet everyone!

I think what I learned is to get there early or on Friday next time, and thanks to Spinnernut for the grille! I'll be using it! As I was leaving this guy driving by stopped me and told me there was a folk festival going on at the
park next weekend if anyone is interested. Not sure if I can go or not but it sounds like fun.

Nice shots, Thomas. That wasn't the one with the Rumplemintz bottle, but it still looks impressive. The three "unimpressed" fellows include on cat, one dog and one spinnernut.

BTW, I've had a lot of good gathering pot-luck food over the years, but I rank this pot-luck as one of the best in the way of good food.

Yup, I think we are warmed up (pun intended) and ready for LCG4. 8)

Haha that's right! FYI "unimpressed" was meant as "cool" ;)

Here's one of the Rumplemintz bottle (yes I copy and pasted that name!) the photo didn't come out as dramatic at the other, but you can see the flame coming out like a blow torch!
