Figured that I'd best do this proper and introduce myself. My name is Thom and I'm a gearhead. I'm employed as an Engineer, which strangely enough is what my diploma claims that I am. I've been around every form of auto racing except circle track, and have worked in the field as a fabricator for racing and restorations.
My apprenticeship started at the ripe age of 7 under the tutelage of my grandfather, whose range of skills was a far greater span than mine. I spent all of my school year summers building houses or fixing combine's or going camping in the GP's Airstream. Granddad built a TD when my mother was a child. I saw it once as a very small child before granddad sold it.
I'm mostly here to learn more for future mods to my Venturecraft TrailBlazer trailer, but along the way I figured to poke my $0.02 where it hopefully appropriate. My GF wants a slide-out kitchen ala some of the Kimberly's so that is my first trailer build priority.
