AVAILABLE SITE

Postby queeniejeanne » Thu Sep 24, 2009 8:02 pm

Smokey Bob has his site available. We already have one......told him to tell MJ and we have been out of touch....in snow, sleet and 28 degree weather. Toasty and comfy in our TD...Propane heat in the EZ up makes breakfast more bearable. Queenie Jeanne

Thank you Larry and Macy. I really am planning to coming over. I'll have to be sure and time it where I don't miss the potluck though.

Really hope to see everyone in a month

over flow

Postby doitright » Fri Sep 25, 2009 1:28 pm

Can anyone tell me how far is the over flow from the campground? My wife said she is going. I do not know how to ask this but we are quite people, do will with groups but still like our little time together so doubling up may be a problem. To understand the problem my wife has been out of the house (night and day 60% of the time) for the last three years taking care of her mother, son, father until there death and now her sister. Her question is how far is the bathroom and mine is how far is the party and can you ride our bikes as the crow flies? We are getting older so long distance may be a problem and she has not been on a bike for 30 years. Dry camping is no problem (for Me) but she found out that our shower tent was almost see through at night with a light now she will not use it. I just do not understand I thought it just added a little  to our camp out

It is not terribly far from the campground. It is, however, a pretty good walk to MadJack's party site. If you bring bikes, it is a piece of cake, though.

The bathroom and shower facilities at the park are pretty good.

And if the walking and cycling looks too far, you can always unhitch and use your car. Glen will let you park at his site.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

OK folks – time is drawing closer to LCG IV and many preparations are being made – even as I post, a world renowned artist and current resident teardropper is working on a vital project - name tags. If you are attending LCG IV - and you know who you are - then to help em' out this is what we need:

Your Screen name
First Name of each person in your group as you would like it to appear
Your City
Your State

Please PM me with your Info

Thanks for your Kind assistance

Hey, doitright, glad you are coming. My wife are quiet people also. The bath house is in the center of the campground and there are cut through trails to the bath house from most any camp site so you can go any where without having to go around the road which make it a shorter distance for walking. Be sure to bring a flashlight. Hope you have a wonderful time here. Dulcimer man

MadJack,
We paid for 2 sites but will only have one teardrop. We can let someone have site #50 as long as our son can have his tent on the grassy part of the site.
We paid the full $39 under Dave Lovelace.
We will be in #52 which is bigger for the movie and we will have a tent for two of our friends.
Hot Cindy
My goal is to really live my life. I want to take risks, make a difference, and know that I have done all I can do to give hope to others.

I've had a couple of friends offer to let me double with them but it looks like i'll be coming in on Friday instead of Saturday. I just hate to be in the way the whole weekend.
Sooooooo. If any sites come available I'd be happy to take it.
I hate for anyone to not be able to come but I know things come up unexpectedly.
