You won't be far from any party. We've been in site 65 and wasn't too far from the party site - yes it is a long walk if you start at site 1 and work your way to site 65 - but there are cut throughs at multiple points that make the trips a little shorter. Really not a bad spot in the entire camp

I will have some Scotch (Tony) and will bring some wine to taste. ;) ;)

I believe they have some cabins there you can rent, if you want to spend the night. Otherwise, you can pitch a tent in one of our sites.

I have a few fun ideas for name tags, but this year I can't afford to spend the kind of money I did last year.

Maybe I can get Little Guy, or some other company to sponsor tags.

As a backup, if I come up with a design and what it will cost, does anyone want to pitch in?

If I do this, I'll want it to be something folks can keep as a souvenir of the even, like last year's tags (I hope you guys kept them).

I don't want to make a profit, just breaking even would be great.

Okay, Scott (Starleen2) has volunteered to gather names and such for name tags. I will do a design for them, and get an estimate of the cost.

Scott will need the following information sent to him by PM:

1. The first name of everyone in your party

2. The forum name (ie: caseydog) associated with that name

3. The city and state that you are from.

Your first name will be big and bold on your tag. Your forum name will be below that, so people can put your name and face with your forum name. Your city and state will be below that.

I generally don't bother with last names, because it will be hard enough for most people to remember a first name.

I will go out on a limb and hope that I can pay for this, and get started on a design. Once I have a cost, I will look for a sponsor. If that fails, I will be back on this thread begging for money.

OK folks – time is drawing closer to LCG IV and many preparations are being made – even as I post, a world renowned artist and current resident teardropper is working on a vital project - name tags. If you are attending LCG IV - and you know who you are - then to help em' out this is what we need:

Your Screen name
First Name of each person in your group as you would like it to appear
Your City
Your State

Please PM me with your Info

Thanks for your Kind assistance

Err, uhmm, I mean, I am glad y'all are making the trip.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

I set a tent up on a deck last year, and it worked out great.

My wife likes the look of your ladybug and hopes to see it. I just took off the cover of my camper and I found out one thing do not put a tarp on a alum. camper. It looks as if sandpaper was used on it. Over 60 hours of polishing gone to waste. At one time you could shave your face using the alum as a mirror. Now it is a mess and I will have to go as it is.
How do we handle the garbage there we sure do not want rangers upset or coons spreading it all over the campground. Do we have a garbage patrol at night taking it to the dumpster? I am sure Madjack has that in hand also. It is like dirty dishes not many there to help after the fun is over. I will volunteer for one or the other or both.

There are lidded cans all over the park, and hooks on poles that you can use to hang partially full bags overnight.
