I can help with the shrimp peelin', if I am drunk enough, but not too drunk.

I have peeled many thousands of shrimp, and scooped out the poop canal, AKA the "vein." Or, maybe I can teach some of the coonass wanabees how to peel 'em, and supervise. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Cut, scrape, and pinch.

Just remember that we're bringin' some good ole East Texas beans and rice for those from the other side of the Sabine River - Goldie locks style - not too hot, not too cold - Jussttt right! (Tabasco will be on hand just in case) do I dare say cornbread? Would be a heresy not too!

We'll cook up some cornbread. If I run two Dutch ovens, should be able to knock out a few batches out easy enough.

We'll have trophies again this year. I used the old artwork again but I'll have a new design for next year. I have the design, just can't dedicate the time right now to get it refined. We'll have "Farthest Distance Traveled", "Best Halloween Decorations", and "Teardroppers Favorite".

Darren's Trophies

Postby queeniejeanne » Sat Oct 10, 2009 7:56 am

Being the first time we've ever seen them I am so excited....These are magnificent and I can barely contain my enthusiasm for the art, design, and creator. There is not enough bragging to be spoken. (Ok, so how's my butter) by the way who gets to judge? Queenie
HEY a tiny trailer. Whatever it takes.

Usually the camp hosts judge the Halloween Decorations and the campers vote for the Teardroppers Favorite. I'll set up a box to drop votes in and I have a bunch of old business cards that we can use to write on, I'm cheap alright.

I like the new avatar also Jeanne. Shows me in full Sunday morning camping glory.

Thanks for the comments on the trophy. That was the design used on shirts a couple of years ago, not my artwork. It turns out that the last 2 years trophies were flawed and Teadropper's was actually spelled Tearproppers. I got a message from last years winner letting me know about the error. How funny is that.

I think my wife is getting into this also. She said we need a t-shirt that has on it for her (I PULL HEADS AND HE PINCHES TAIL) for me it would say (She PULLS HEAD AND I PINCH TAIL). :o Is that not red neck?
Also we will be there ready to help with shrimp and anything else Madjack.
