I stumbled across this site via another I frequent (TKF). Thoght I was in trouble there, you guys already have me hooked :) . Am very interested in building a TD or TTT and have spent WAY too much time looking at everything here already!
Are any of you around this area? I really would love to be able to check out some trailers. I have a TSC 4x6, wondering if that was a good trailer to start with... so many questions!
Thanks for letting me on board- I'm sure the rest of the family will be so happy with me now

Hey, Welcome Aboard from the Mountains of Western NC!

I have found this is a great hobby for the whole family. The kids love coming down to help with build (the more help I get the slower it goes, but they have fun). Sweet Wife at least tolerates and endures the hobby, because I keep promising her it will mean no more tent camping (plus I suppose she realizes it is better than some other alternate hobbies like gambling and drinking whiskey).

Its a lot of fun. I know there are several members from Texas. But, be warned, all the campers built in Texas are bigger. (Grin)

From plain trailer to campground!

Hey Vicki,

Welcome the the forum... there's lots of folks building down there in the lone star state. While we wait for them to chip in...

Remember to let us know what you are planning on building, and take lots of pictures when you actually start building.

Starleen is down there in TX, and his current build is a Winter Warrior... one of my favorites designs... have you seen that yet?

Mike...

Welcome from Oklahoma! If you really want to see a large variety of trailers, and meet a great bunch of people, head on over to the LCG in October. You will leave with so much information, and so many ideas! Plus many, many new friends, with the added bonus of some great food!

Again, Welcome!
