:beautiful: :woohoo: That is totally awesome! I sure wish we could see it in person. You wouldn't happen to have pictures of the door mechanism from the inside? I know how del's works so I guess it is about the same..........

Just came across this thread and build. Oh my! That is incredible.
I can't wait to see how the interior finishes out.

Dan can you post some details about how you trimmed and fitted those windows?

Thanks,
Wes

roswell build

Postby dandan » Sun Sep 13, 2009 1:55 pm

Hi Guys, :)

thank-you again for the kind comments posted.
will be answering outstanding questions & adding the required piccies soon. :snappy:

have rotated back to normal life again with family & work dominating.

had a great time in Dorset with the roswell.
glad i fitted opaque film to the windows.
otherwise would have woken to strangers peering in on me.
it generates alot of interest to put it mildly !
there were a few questions on the cost of importing it from across the pond
& one guy knew more about it than me !
hearing peoples comments as they walk by is a right giggle too.

as the speed limit in the UK for towing a trailer is 60mph, i can only say it
shows all the potential of being stable up to 95mph, possibly beyond !
that one i will never know.

have given permission for this thread to be moved to a "build journal" in the near future.
may continue this or start a new one for the fitting out.
have not decided yet.
any suggestions ???
best rgds dan.

Just Simply Amazing !!!!!!!

I can't begin to comprehend the ability to make that look soooo good!!!

I look forward to see how or what you plan to do with the inside.

I will admit that '59 caddy tail lights were the first ideal I had when I was looking to build the Roswell...you have to put those on man!!
