Just another new guy here from Iowa. I am starting my trailer build here very soon. Looking to build a 5th wheel teardrop trailer to pull behind my little hot rod pickup to use while at car shows. Has anyone ever saw a 5th wheel teardrop? I would love to see a picture.

bob henrey-- That is really cool!!

My trailer will still be stock height roughly 5' tall overall. But will be a 5th wheel design with storage in the very front. Sorry I can't figure out how to post pictures up the right way, but you can click on the link to see my truck.

Hey Quad,

Welcome to the forum... Sumner was going to build this a few years ago, but I think he got sidetracked...

I live in Des Moines. My trailer will be roughly 4' wide 9' long(minus over gooseneck area) and about 5' tall. The top of my box at ride height is about 32". The top of my truck is about 53" to the roof top. So this will be a normal build with the exception of the added area of the hitch.
