just thought ya would like to see the remains of a 73 Scotty before they are commited to fire,,,, this is all of the wood that was left on the frame,,, I did get the wheel well covers even though they are a bit rusty in spots and have an abnormal bend or two in them,,, I guess the old saying of beauty being in the eye of the beholder is true,,,, either that or I GOTTA quit drankin pickel juice :lol:

note the camper top just happened to be close by when the wood was pulled off ,,, it was not with the Scotty,,, the pic is of the bottom of the floor looking from the foot well towards the rear,,,

That stuff looks like it's already been on fire!

Your rebuild looks great so far! I love a complete rebuid like that because you know you got all the mold out! The thought of something lurking behind leaky old walls just creeps me out.

well its been awhile for an update and its hard to ask for pics if I dont put up too sooo here are some of current progress,,, I hope yall can get an idea and can visualize whats going on here,,,,, :thumbsup:

This pic is from the front driverside facing towards the rear ,,, door on left,,,, the piece going across the top and down the side is a divider and bulkhead between the bed ared and the front area,,

this pic is from the front facing rear along the drivers side,,,, ya can see the bulkhead,, the start of the galley cabinet,,, some of the bed framing behind the bulkhead,,,,

I know its still rough looking but even though slow its starting to take shape,,,, the bulkhead is gonna serve as a main wiring trace and a mounting point for lights for sleeping area and front area plus strengthen up the side walls,,,

I hope all this pile of lumber sorta makes sence,,,

Lookin good Chip! I'm waaaayy behind you at this point on mine although it's not going to be a total teardown (I hope). I hope once I get some momentum going I can make as much progress as you are. Just wonderin though..... :thinking:

I see more work on the cabinets (Looking good!) work on the ceiling and work on the walls. Yup! You've been busy. :thumbsup:

Sharon,, the "pondering" time sure takes up more than glueing and screwing time does,,,, :lol:

but I have learned if ya not thinking 5 steps ahead ya end up tearing out step 4 so step 5 will fit,,, sooooo,,, measure 3 times,, cut once and think about it for a while,,,, :thinking:
