Hi From TN

I've become intrigued with the teardrops now. Me and my fiance are avid off-roaders and have been living in a tent cot while on our expeditions, but I'm starting to get the teardrop bug now. I'm a project person who enjoys building my own things. Our Tundra is pretty well equipped for the trails less traveled, so I'm studying hard and gathering ideas to build a rugged teardrop more geared towards handling rougher terrain. Will most likely be set up on 35" tires and since I have a well equipped fab shop in my garage, I will most likely do all the chassis fabrication myself. I may even get fancy and design a 4-link suspension for it. I figured I would start playing with designs in AutoCad and see where it takes me.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and gaining knowledge on teardrops here.

Greeting for the wet coast (no typo)

You'll find lots of ideas in the off-road section; some pretty heavy-duty rigs being built
