Fri nite LCG feed......

Postby madjack » Thu Oct 08, 2009 2:35 pm

OK, I finally got everything organized for this...for all who sent a donation...thank you...I have sent a PM to all of you I knew who you were...there were a couple I didn't recognize(sorry 'bout that)...SO if you did not receive a PM from me and you sent a donation, please let me know so I can keep all that straightened out...

FYI...I have 100#s of 16-20 shrimp, ordered directly off the boats for the gumbo...I will put the majority into the gumbo and probably reserve back some to grill for Sat's potluck...the gumbo will be a Creole(New Orleans) as opposed to strictly Cajun...a subtle diff most will never be able to tell (except for hardcore Cajuns)...these are large shrimp and will cut into thirds for the gumbo...and there will be 1600 of them to be peeled so any and all help doing so will be appreciated...

So, to all, I say, bring a bowl, a spoon and an appetite...if anyone else wishes to bring a potato salad, green salad or french bread that is OK as well...this is gonna be MMM MMM MMM GOOD!!!!!!!!!

LAISSEZ LES BON TEMPS(TEARS) ROULLET...AAAIIIIEEEEEEEE

Great--looks like all the volunteer labor is covered so I will be able to kick back, sip on a cold one, and watch all of you work your little tails off so I can eat in style!

I wasn't supposed to say that out loud, was I?
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just get Planovet to write you a sick note. He's a doctor -- and the boss doesn't need to know what kind.
