Hope you don't mind if my husband and I show up and look around. Live in East Texas about an hour from Tyler, almost half way between Lufkin and Tyler.

Welcome greyhounder,

you are definately welcome to come over and check out everyone's rigs.

Plan to come on Saturday and stay for the potluck supper. There is always tons of food so be sure and bring an appetite. oh yea. don't forget your camera. You'll want to take lots of pictures.

BTW are you in Jacksonville? That's about half way between Lufkin and Tyler. We are in Pollok (avatar says Lufkin)
Glad to have another East Texan on board.

See ya at LCG lV

We live in Palestine. I know where you are. As a child, I lived in Central for a year and later went to Angelina Jr College. My mother, stepdad, brother, sil all live in Lufkin. Matter of fact my neice works at Central School. So you might as well call us neighbors.

For all you teardroppers who will be coming from the Texas area on I 20 I suggest you take I 220 around Shreveport and Bossier. You can get back on I 20 at the Race Track on the east side of Bossier and proceed to the Filmore exit where you will exit for Doyline La. then Lake Bistineau SP #1. I will be in site 24 so stop by and visit. Dulcimer man

plane

Postby rockinrobin » Thu Oct 15, 2009 8:58 pm

That plane is a Piper PA-12, ive been working on for 16 years. Trying to set a record on how long it takes to restore one. You know what they say the auto mechanics car never gets fixed, I guess that applies to airplane mechanics too. Ronnie
