I May Have It Bad

Postby Russ in California » Sat Sep 26, 2009 11:56 pm

Went 20 miles for a chance at some iron at a yard sale.
Came away with some goodies and this little number. Not USA but what the hay.

Didn't get carried away with the cleaning. In pretty good shape. Will try it out in the morn.

I'd drive 30.

Of course, I've just purchased my very first, my very own cast iron cookware last night! (A Lodge pre-seasoned 3 qt. combo cooker) If I weren't already completely consumed with pondering my first teardrop build, I now have cast iron and cast iron cuisine to occupy my thoughs as well.

Would the world be a better place if everyone had hobbies as fun as these? I think so!

:pipe:

Ya know Chris...there is nothing wrong with outfitting your future tear with all the accessories you may want prior to building it. I've yet to burn any wire on the frame on my new one, but I've collected all sorts of what some may think is "crap" to put in it. When you find it and want it...get it! It's all part of the future big picture. I figure it's just a big box to go around all the fun stuff I want to camp with. When it's all said and done, someone will go..."wow" makes it all worth while.....Doug

I think so too. We live in a good world. It's contagious. More join us in this group every year.
