Kevin,

I will admit, I can't take all the credit, because I got the recipe on this forum. I am not sure if it was your post or not. That dish I have prepared several times so far, and has been a hit everytime! My wife and I was looking forward to a sample after the effort preparing.

Next time, two scoops are coming out before I place it on the table. ha ha.

I can't take the credit either. I got the recipe from JPLock in Oklahoma.
You're right it disappears everytime I make it at a gathering.

I made sure to get some because I missed it at Lake Casitas. The stomach remembers!

Cliff, just let every one know that you can't stand in line very long. That you'll fall on your butt, and scare the hell out of every body.

I have to make fun out of it or it will get me down.

I guess putting a 3x5 index card on it to let everyone know who's dish it was didn't help my cause any. ha ha. When I first started learning how to cook in the dutch oven, I joined a few dutch oven cook outs. To help identify ingredients of a dish, everyone listed it, and name on a 3x5 index card, in case of allergies. In retrospect, I don't think that tradition was used at this potluck, because my dish was the only one with the sign on it.
Ok, so let's review, Gage and Tanya had some, Eddie, Donna, and guest, Dennis Broderick, Dennis and Jeannie Keho. That about takes care of almost half of it. You guys must have followed each other in the chow line, right after Gage with his scooter.

And... I was down the line from Greg and Karrie. I didn't get any of Tanya's cherry pie either (inside chuckle for Tanya).

I have a chile relleno casserole recipe that I have done in an 8" DO. At the next rally it will show up in the 12" size. We can swap tastes before they are put out or we may have to do a private side dish of each one.

It wasn't put out. She had it hidden. All you had to do was ask where it was hidden and you could of had some like some that did ask.

Ahhh! It's gotten to this ehhhh... Tanya's coveted cherry pie, is part of the secret fraternal trailerites. I will be sure to ask for the password next time.

P.S. We didn't sign up for the impromptu gathering next year. Hopefully we can shake it up a bit for a couple different events.

I didn't sign up either. But Tanya told me when we got home that someone else did but won't tell me who. Probably someone who wanted to make sure they got some cherry pie next year.
