Who's bringin' scooters/minibikes to LCG?

Postby WarPony » Wed Oct 14, 2009 7:52 pm

I'm bringing my 1969 Honda Z50 to this years gathering.......

It's pretty much will be "as pictured" since I haven't done much to it other than put new rubber on the wheels.

WARNING: Bring a helmet to wear because the ranger will enforce the laws of LA. According to them, the roads in the park are considered state roads......... even in the campground.

Danny is bringing his two CT70s. I think Ron is bringing one -- he has several, so I don't know which one.

I would bring mine again, except it isn't mine anymore, it's Ron's.

I'll DOUBLE DOWN on what CD said about bringing a helmet...they will enforce it...they also don't allow 4wheelrs or golf carts...legitimate handicap rides are permitted...they seem to be OK with little scooters and bicycles...skaters too...another rule the rangers will enforce is nothing burning on the decks...you can have a gas fired stove but not a charcoal burning smoker or grill...I know e have been talking about the "FUN" but keep in mind, the rangers do patrol and more or less enforce most park rules...we have a good reputation(somehow) and relationship with them...so let's keep it thataway..........

...nothing on the decks, Julie...you can set up your own grill on the ground by the tables or bring some tin foil and use the built in ones but if it has flame and is on the deck it had better be gas operated.........

I'll be swinging by Irving to pick up the Trail 90 I bought from Vairman.

I've got my headmountedorgandonordeferment device, but do they enforce registration or license? The bike has no plates and I don't have a m/c license. Will they throw me in jail? Oh, no--I don't want to be know as Susie! :o
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Tony, I don't know if CD or Danny had plates on their little scooters last year, all that was said was about the helmets...if nothing else, just use 'em when they are not looking ;)

Yes, I believe plates are needed. See if you can pick up a temp plate, or go get the real ones before you leave for LCG.
